Participatory Budgeting is a way of giving people a voice to decide how public money is spent. SLC Education Resources have agreed that a percentage of our school Pupil Equity Fund should be subject to Particpatory Budgeting.
This means we must form a group of parents and pupils to decide how best this money should be spent. This will involve taking part in meetings, probably online, to put forward ideas for how to spend our allocation. The final decision will be taken to a whole school vote which will include all stakeholders.
The link below can be used to register your interest in joining the group. If you are unable to join our group, you can still share your ideas regarding how you would like to see this money spent.
